One of our most popular teas! This blend helps to strengthen the body's defenses giving your immune system an extra boost to fight off invaders. These herbs are nature's best for counteracting the symptoms associated with a low immune response. They can help to reduce fevers by encouraging perspiration and can assist the soothing of coughs and sore throats. This tea is very valuable to have around during the cold and flu season or whenever you begin to feel run-down. Drink several cups a day at the first onset of cold or flu symptoms.

Directions Infuse 1 teaspoon of herbs per cup of hot (but not boiling) water. Adjust the amount of herbs based on individual preference, constitution, and purpose. Leave to infuse for about 5 minutes. Add a touch of honey if desired. Best without milk. Drink up to three times daily. Many prefer half the amount of herb for enjoyment and double the amount when there is a medicinal need.
Dosage

Use during acute stages of sickness or the first onset of cold symptoms, especially when fever is first evident. Use 3 cups per day or more as needed.

Up to 1 year: Start with a pinch of herbs (mixed with carob powder if needed) as an infusion or with juice or mashed fruit. Adjust and use more or less herbs based on your baby's reaction and individual constitution.

2 to 7 years: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon as an infusion or with juice or mashed fruit. Again adjust and use more or less herbs based on your child's reaction and individual constitution.

Adults: Start with normal dosage (1 teaspoon) and adjust according to weight, condition of digestive system, and your present health or illness. Take up to 1 tablespoon of herbs, three times per day.

Use as directed. If you are on prescription medications, or if symptoms persist, see your health care professional.
