The Wise Woman Behind Divine Herbals Introduces our Tea Range
"Hello, and welcome to the beautiful world of herbs! I am very proud and excited to bring these herbal blends to tea drinkers throughout New Zealand. Divine Herbals has been developed through my ongoing admiration and respect for the power of the plant kingdom. Nature is truly a manifestation of ancient knowledge and herbs are gracefully attuned to our body's innate wisdom. This range of herbal tea blends has been especially created to stimulate our own healing potential. Humans, and especially wise woman healers, have used this ancient knowledge throughout history. This is the opportunity for you, your customers, and your clients to utilize the strength and power of herbs as simple and delightful teas.
I studied at the School of Natural Medicine in Boulder, Colorado USA under Farida Sharan; a master herbalist, healer, teacher, and extraordinary woman. She taught me how to listen to my body and most especially to the plants. Under her guidance I gained a unique perspective about health, healing, and herbs. Currently, I practice Reflexology, Herbalism, and Iridology in Takaka, NZ. Through my study and work as an Herbalist, I have developed a unique range of teas to suit various needs, situations, ailments, imbalances, and moods. Several of the blends I have used for years and others have been developed more recently as the need arose.
My husband, Theron, has been my most supportive and avid Divine Herbals tea drinker. He has helped me to create and develop my teas from start to finish. He continues to inspire and support me with with my vision. He built my drying cabinet for me, which has been invaluable! He helps me to harvest herbs when I need a hand, sells by my side at markets and is Mr. Mom whenever I need him to be. I value his input and undying energy for what I am doing. He helps to keep my inspired dream alive. Many of my blends have been fine tuned with his input and expertise. Many Thanks and much love to Theron!

Of course, I drink each of the blends I create. I firmly believe that you can only recommend what you have personally experienced for yourself. I share these blends with family and friends who have also noticed tremendous positive shifts in their health and wellbeing. I have worked with herbs for many years: blending, growing, harvesting, and creating teas. I have witnessed first hand the power that herbs have on the body, mind, and soul. They are potent natural forces that our bodies respond amazingly well to. They are easily assimilated into the body's tissues and organs. I have used them in my private practice, personally, and now I want to make them more widely available to the general public. If just one of the cups of black or green tea you drink per day could be replaced with an herbal alternative, your body would thank you.
Divine Herbals uses quality control standards to ensure that all our herbs are of the highest grade. Of course when we grow, harvest, and dry the herbs ourselves we are in touch with every stage of processing. We use the rhythm of bio-dynamics in our process and harvest sustainably. We certainly notice a difference when plants are planted and harvested according to the moon and planetary cycles. We use touch, taste, and visual cues to assess the quality of our herbs. As much as we would love to grow or wild-craft all our herbs, it is just not feasible at this stage. Some herbs are grown locally on other farms. We visit each of these sites to ensure that organic principles are being applied. All the herbs that we do have to order in are from reputable companies; companies who are also interested in keeping the quality and efficacy of herbs a foremost priority. Most of the herbs are certified organic when they are added into our blends. All Divine Herbals teas are made with organic or wild crafted herbs wherever possible. There are only a few exceptions for herbs that I could not source organically. However, I felt that their influence in the specific blend was more important than whether or not they were certified organic.
We believe drinking tea should be a ritual...a blessing to your own health, vibrance and well-being. When you brew a cup of Divine Herbals tea you are not only brewing a delicious cuppa but also therapeutic goodness for your body, mind, and spirit. Part of the inspiration behind Divine Herbals came from a revelation that when we are whole, balanced, and healthy within ourselves, we are better able to help our planet and humanity. If we are imbalanced and unhealthy then we can only focus on ourselves and what our own needs are to become healthy. These herbal tea blends are designed to stimulate the body's own healing potential. When we are healthier and happier then this is reflected or mirrored out into the world. We can give and contribute more in a positive way to the betterment of the planet.

Through herbs we are able to use and capture the essence of the divine and use that power within our bodies. When we utilize the power of nature in ourselves, we become more balanced, healthy, and happy. When we are in a more positive frame of mind we can expand our vision to encompass contributions to the whole planet, rather than only being concerned with ourselves. Ultimately, the goal of Divine Herbals is to capture the essence of herbs and deliver it to tea drinkers for their own wellbeing."
